Treatment of Diabetes

There are two main forms of diabetes: type 1 (adolescence) and type 2 (adult) diabetes. Diabetes is seen in the body as an elevated blood sugar level.<br>In type 1 diabetes, elevated blood sugar is due to insufficient insulin secretion. In type 2 diabetes, the effectiveness of insulin is reduced and sometimes insulin secretion is reduced, especially after several years of illness. 1. DIABETES –What is –Causes-Diet & Treatment? TYPES OF DIABETES There are two main forms of diabetes: type 1 (adolescence) and type 2 (adult) diabetes. Diabetes is seen in the body as an elevated blood sugar level. In type 1 diabetes, elevated blood sugar is due to insufficient insulin secretion. In type 2 diabetes, the effectiveness of insulin is reduced and sometimes insulin secretion is reduced, especially after several years of illness. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas that allows food-derived sugar to enter human tissues. For Best Treatment Option,Click Here DIABETES TYPE 1 DIABETES TYPE 2 DIABETICS The same food as for others is recommended. Proper fat quality is important and high-fat foods should be avoided. It is also a good idea to avoid foods high in salt. High-fiber foods are good because they slow down the rise in blood sugar after meals and lower blood cholesterol. Diabetics can eat foods sweetened with regular sugar in reasonable amounts. Same recommendation as for type 1. Type 2 diabetics are more likely to be overweight than type 1 diabetics, which is why a varied, low-energy, healthy diet is recommended. DIET Glucose, or blood sugar, does not enter the tissues because the sensitivity of the tissues to insulin is reduced. Insulin secretion from the pancreas is also impaired. Insulin-secreting cells in the pancreas are partially or completely destroyed. Often insulin secretion ceases completely. REASON Because there is no insulin to control the level of glucose in the blood, the level of glucose in the blood rises. Symptoms include a feeling of thirst, heavy urination, fatigue, weight loss and possibly blurred vision. Because insulin, which regulates blood glucose levels, does not work properly, blood glucose levels rise. Symptoms are often less severe than in type 1 diabetes. MANIFESTATION

  2. DIABETES TYPE 1 DIABETES TYPE 2 DIABETICS In the morning, before eating breakfast, take a blood sample to check your blood glucose or sugar content. Examined in the same way as type 1 diabetes. HOW TO STUDY? Insulin therapy to achieve the highest possible blood sugar levels. The goal is to avoid too high and too low blood sugar. Blood glucose measurements at home, a balanced diet, and healthy lifestyles such as exercise will help you achieve and maintain a good balance. Treated primarily with diet and exercise. If a diabetic is overweight, he or she is recommended to lose weight. If necessary, tablet therapy and sometimes also insulin therapy are used. HOW IS IT TREATED? There are about 50,000 type 1 diabetics in Finland. Finnish children have more type 1 diabetes than the rest of the world. PREVALENCE IN FINLAND There are about 450,000 people with type 2 diabetes in Finland. Type 1 diabetes usually begins before the age of 30, usually at school age, but sometimes even before school age. Insulin secretion does not return to normal, but with insulin treatment, a diabetic can live a fairly normal life. Type 2 diabetes usually begins at the age of more than 40 years. Sometimes diabetes can become asymptomatic simply due to diet, weight loss and exercise. AT WHAT AGE DOES THE PROBLEM OCCUR AND CAN IT BE CURED? There are no problems with access to nutrients. The problem is often excessive energy intake, which leads to overweight and worsens the balance of care for adult-onset diabetes. There are no particular problems with nutrient intake when the diet is balanced and varied. Diabetes in a growing child and adolescent must be treated well so that nutrition also secures growth. NUTRIENT INTAKE PROBLEMS The doctor and nutritionist plan the treatment and diet of the diabetic child and adolescent.
