Timetable • Attendance to all laboratory activities is compulsory according to faculty regulations • Two motivated absences are allowed with the condition of recovering for lost classes by the end of the semester • The last week of the semester will be dedicated to recovering lost activity (one class) • Other lost classes must be recovered in the same week they were unattended (with other groups)
Course Content • Hardware and Software Concepts – 1 or (2) S • Networking Concepts – 1 S • Data Representation in Informatics – 1 S • Advanced Office Techniques – 3 (or 4) S • Microsoft SharePoint Basics – 7 (or 5) S • Recovery activity / Free week – 1 S Next week: Prepare to get dirty!
Evaluation • Over the whole semester • No final exam • Final mark calculation: 1 x Word project 1 x 10 pts. 1 x Excel project 1 x 10 pts. 1 x SharePoint project 1 x 10 pts. 2 x 10 question multiple choice pop quizzes 2 x 10 pts. 4 x random lab activity evaluation 4 x 10 pts. Staying alive bonus 1 x 10 pts. Total 100 pts.
Evaluation Please bare in mind: • Final mark is only calculated if all laboratory activities have been attended by the end of the semester! In any other case the subject must be re-contracted in the following year! • Misbehavior during activities will not be tolerated and any violators will be asked to leave the classroom, being marked as absent for the respective week.
