Basic Principles & Guidelines • Integrity and commitment to leader/leader’s organization. Promptness. • Comprehensive understanding of reality, articulating values, championing ides, developing others and bias for action ( regenerative model) • Thinking practice through workouts applied to individual setting • Thinking deepens through implementation of actions decided by the learner • Onus of learning is on learner and coaching is meant to assist but not to replace learner’s efforts • Follow the instructions and reading material • Context is to be your environment not generic global thinking. • Ensure that your actions are specific, verifiable and with specific completion dates with combination of long/short term goals. • Actionable “leaders own agenda” is the ultimate test of success
Registration/Grading/Misc • Need either IE 6.7 or FF 3.0 or most recent version of a browser • All of you have been registered. We have set UN and PW for each student based on their e mail. E mail format as and example is nidhi.joshi@mavs.uta.edu and UN will be nidhi.joshi and PW will be joshi • Those not on the list(23 registered as of 1/14/2010) or any issues, register yourself on line www.learning-leadership.com and let me know by sending an e mail to pranademi@gmail.com and you will have access within 24 hours • UN and PWs are case sensitive. Upon log in PW can be changed after logging in. • EL consists of 10 modules each with a workout associated with them( three modules have two workouts each). • Make your action items specific, verifiable and with specific completion dates,; blend of short/long term actions. • Grading and course requirements by Prof. Quick • You will receive an invoice for $90 to UTA e mail address with payment instructions • Any questions about LL registration process/access, send an e mail or call 616 780 3210.
