  2. The Band • Pink Floyd were an English rock band who earned recognition for their psychedelic music in the late 1960s and, as they evolved in the 1970s, for their progressive rock music. Pink Floyd's work is marked by the use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experiment, innovative album cover art and elaborate live shows. One of rock music's most critically acclaimed and commercially successful acts, the group has sold over 200 million albums worldwide, including 74.5 million certified units in the United States. These men's names are: Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, Syd Barret, and briefly, Bob Klose who died in mid 1965. Syd Barret took his place later on, yet still not as skilled as bob.

  5. I Like It! • I like this song because it is slow and really powerful and full of heart. This song inspired me because it is about freedom. 

  6. Message • I think the authors' message is to be free because the song is about a man who finds freedom.
