But instead of understanding what he wanted us to know, we just ascribed his power to being the son of God and assumed we can't do it, and we do not have the same power he has.
Again, this is despite him telling us that we have the ability to do everything he did... if we will just understand his teachings... and have faith that he is telling us the truth. Among all the species of plants and animals on the Earth, we are the only ones who can see the world as it is, then imagine how we want it to be and set out to make it that way. That might not seem like much, but it is the true root of creation. It is how we are made in the image of God. Because he blessed us with an imagination. And that imagination gives us the ability to CHANGE and AFFECT THE WORLD around us. The Conscious Mind is what Controls our Imagination Our imagination is “located” in and controlled by our conscious mind.
Although we can, and often cede control to our subconscious, we can easily take it back with the slightest of intentions. For example, close your eyes and imagine the sweet taste of blueberries in cream.
