Our College “Agni College of Technology” was established in the year 2001 by Sri Balaji Charitable and Educational Trust with a motive of producing a high quality technical education to create Engineers coming out with flying colours and new invention to develop our nation on behalf of the name of Agni College of Technology.Our college provides a numerous facilities to the students such as full furnished class rooms, well equipped laboratories, workshops,library etc. compared to any other colleges in our surroundings to fulfill the knowledge thirst of the students. Our faculty members play a most important role in moulding the students to make them fit for the name so called “ENGINEERS”.

  3. Our college’s logo is “IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE INCULCATING VALUES”. Our college is ranked 16th among top 20colleges in Tamil Nadu. Students from our college are placed in a tire own companies such as HCL, BSNL etc. Our college has achieved Best Placement Engineering Colleges in Tamilnaduoffers during the year 2013 to 2014.In our college we have well educated faculty members in various departments. 75 faculty members have completed their Ph.D. in their departmental fields and 25 faculties are pursuing their Ph.D. in their branch of study. They are ready to fulfill the knowledge thirst of the students until they get satisfied. They are not hesitated to share their knowledge that they have gained to their students without any partiality such as toppers and averagers.

Centre for Research and Development (Agni’sCRD) provides major and minor project for the students to develop their research skill. .It was started and inaugurated by the renowned scientist of ISRO, Mr. MylswamyAnnadurai on 14th April 2012.Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the top most field in our college. Students exhibit their Excellency in the field of ECE. There are modern well equipped laboratories specially afforded for this department. In this year the new Research Centre was started which was named as “E-YANTRA LAB” ultimately for the students giving up with new thoughts. Every department molds the students in their field of interest.

  5. Our college has extracurricular activities such as sports. The students who were won the sports are given medals and certificates. It has good food facilities for the hostel students providing a quality and hygienic food.
