  3. Darkens settles on roofs and walls But the sea , the sea in darkness calls The little waves , with their soft , white hands Efface the footprints in the sounds And the tide rices , the tide falls

  4. The morning weak ; the steedsiutheir stalls Stamp and reigh as the hostler calls, The day returns ,but nevermore Return the traveler to the shove And the tide rises ,the tide falls.
