  4. NCOAUG is: • A community of Oracle E-Business Suite & Oracle Applications users, vendors, and consultancies in the north-central region of the US • A sub-chapter of OAUG • An organization with published governing bylaws • A non-for-profit organization • An elected board

  5. NCOAUG background: • Continuous existence since inception in 1994 • One of the largest regional user communities • Used as model for other communities • SIG/GEO Certificate of Distinction Awarded 2003-2009, 2011-2012

Membership Survey Results • Top 3 Primary Interests for Attending NCOAUG Training Days: • Attending sessions to expand my knowledge (86.2%) • Networking with peers (70.6%) • Meeting product vendors and service providers (40.4%) • The sessions at NCOAUG Training Day events offer: • Just the right amount of variety (50%) • Too little variety (26.9%) • Too much variety (13%) • Do not attend sessions (10.2%)

Membership Survey Results • Drury Lane as a venue for NCOAUG events: • 75.9% rated it Extremely good or Very good • 70.4% said they were likely to attend events there (by far the #1 choice) • 46.3% said they were likely to attend events in Shaumburg area (the #2 choice) • Frequency of NCOAUG events: • 83.2% said that twice-per year is just right.

Membership Survey Results • Top 3 Interest in special events: • Panel discussions during the NCOAUG Training Day (65.6%) • Round table discussions held at user locations on a topic of interest (45.8%) • Social event held at the end of the Training Day (44.8%) • Willingness to pay fee to attend, if it enhanced the conference: • Willing to pay $50 (52.0%) • Not willing to pay (31.2%) • Willing to pay $100 (16.7%)
