About Ms. Marks • UW grad • 6th year teaching • Nationally Board Certified in literacy • Husband Greg and baby Simon • Passionate about social emotional learning and being a global citizen. • Visited our partner school in Zambia over the summer.
What we believe • Learning should be fun and exciting. • Love of learning is the most important thing. • Kindergarten is a place for social/ emotional learning AND academic learning. Choice time is JUST as important as math time! • Preparing our students to be 21st century learners • Family involvement is a VERY important part of student learning!
