  2. SISTEMA DE PREFERENCIAS GENERALIZADAS (SPG) • En 1968 la UNCTAD (Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo) recomendó la creación de un SPG en virtud del cual los países industrializados concederían preferencias tarifarias de modo autónomo a los países en desarrollo .

  3. SISTEMA DE PREFERENCIAS GENERALIZADAS (SPG) • Es un ACUERDO COMERCIAL AUTÓNOMO que ofrece acceso preferencial NO recíproco ( unilateral) al mercado comunitario de productos manufacturados y ciertos productos agrícolas de 176 países en desarrollo.

SISTEMA DE PREFERENCIAS GENERALIZADAS (SPG) TRES REGÍMENES: • GENERAL: Se aplica a todos los países y territorios beneficiarios siempre y cuando el Banco Mundial no los considere países con ingresos elevados y sus exportaciones no sean suficientemente diversificadas. • ESPECIAL: SPG + : Régimen para el estímulo del desarrollo sostenible y el buen gobierno. • Especial: Régimen EBA ( Everithingbutarms)
