Dystopian 1-Pager Your 1-Pager needs to include each of the following items: • An acrostic for the word “DYSTOPIA” • 5 Important lines from the stories we read this week (“Harrison Bergeron” and “There Will Come Soft Rains” that illustrate the elements of a dystopia, along with a 2 sentence explanation. You can also include examples from Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Uglies, or any other dystopian stories you know. • A large, colorful illustration that reflects your ideas about dystopia and what you learned from these stories. • A connection between courage and dystopia – for example, an explanation of how you see courage in the dystopian protagonists.
