Follow these steps • Read the directions for rounding each number. • Think about to what place you will be rounding. • Underline the digit in the place to which you’ll be rounding.  • Circle the number to the right of the number you will be rounding. • If it is less than 5, you leave the number alone.   • If it is 5 or more, you round the underline digit up. • Change everything behind the rounded digit to zero
