Investigating Genetic Inheritance of Wing Color and Antenna Shape

This study explores the genetic inheritance patterns of wing color and antenna shape in a specific organism. Our hypothesis posits that red wing color and long antenna shape are both autosomal and dominant traits. Chi-squared analyses yielded results of 0.963 and 3.083, with corresponding two-tailed P-values of 0.3265 and 0.0791, respectively. Based on conventional statistical criteria, neither difference is considered statistically significant. Thus, our conclusions confirm that both red wing color and long antenna shape are inherited as autosomal dominant traits.
