Nursing at Plymouth University The Qualification: BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) Eligibility to apply for registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council Professional Register The Course: A 3 year programme 50% theory & 50% practice over a 45 week academic year Each year requiring the achievement of 120 credits at level 4 (yr 1), 5 (yr 2) & 6 (yr3)

  14. Your Application: Educational Achievements GCSE: Five subject grades at C or above. Must include English, maths and a science A levels: 240 UCAS tariff points (minimum 160 points from two A levels) – preference Human Biology Non Standard Academic Qualifications: BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in a Science or Health Related Subject Access to Higher Education – grades at Distinction & Merit Foundation Degree in health plus GCSE English & Maths

  15. Your Application: Personal Attributes An interest in and knowledge of the profession Good communication skills A caring ability Problem solving and use of initiative Ability to work in a team Scholarship
