  3. CORRECTION On Pg. 3 of the yellow Logistics and Resources hand-out please fix the last digit of Dan’s phone number. It should read: Dan Carlson 651-442-6207 (Please text if it is before 4:30pm M-Fr) You will thank yourself for making this update!

  5. Get to know each other Write the number of years you have coached FLL on your name tag. (first year = 1, Etc.) Find someone with a DIFFERENT number than yours: ~Introduce yourselves ~Share your experience with Lego League ~Exchange contact information Support each other this year– we have a VAST amount of expertise in this group!

  8. Mark Your Calendars! Our next meeting for coaches is HERE on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 4:30-6:30pm ALL SPPS 3M-funded LEGO LEAGUE TEAMS will be competing in the REGIONAL FLL TOURNAMENT on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 ALL DAY. EDL starts on the week of Oct. 7. If you can meet before then with your team, or a subset, go for it!

  10. Software • Mindstorms NXT 2.1.6 • When you shut down your computer and log in again with your Active Directory • eXXXXXX and password • You should have the software automatically installed. • If you have recently decided to coach – you may not have access yet. You will soon!

  11. Please take your team’s materials with you when you leave today! Important notes: Please sign out your materials on the back table. Since they are grant funded, we need records showing who has them and when they were received. It’s HOT out there! Robots should not be left in hot cars for long periods of time. Legos are valuable! Please be thoughtful about leaving these items in your car and in other potentially vulnerable places. See you on September 25 at 4:30 for our next meeting!
