  3. Shabbat Seithfed dydd yr wythnos. Mae Shabbat yn para o nos Wener tan nos Sadwrn. I Iddewon, mae’n ddiwrnod i addoli ac i orffwys. Mae llawer o reolau ynglyn a’r pethau y dylai Iddewon eu gwneud neu beidio a’u gwneud ar Shabbat.

  4. Oherwydd fod Duw wedi gorffwys ar ol iddo greu’r byd, mae’n rheol gan yr Iddewon i beidio a gweithio yn ystod Shabbat fel arwydd o barch. Y term Hebraeg am y pethau sy’n cael eu hosgoi yn ystod Shabbat yw… Melachot Dim paratoi bwyd Dyma raiohonynt: Dim gyrru'r car Dim golau trydan Dim pysgota Dim cynnau tan Dim siopa Dim defnyddio'r cyfrifiadur Dim teledu Dim chwarae gyda phel Dim teleffon
