  1. How to Score Over 99 Percentile in CAT Exam

  2. Common Admission Test (CAT)-2019 result has brought good news for Kitabee. Kitabee institute has found a place among the top performers as a student from the city has scored 100 percentile.

  3. Now let's look at the 3 sins committed to stay away from the 99th percentiles in CAT: Eager to answer many questions: do not think about answering a single question that you are not 100% sure of, except for the oral questions of which you are not 100% sure. Once you start asking questions in Quant and LRDI that you are not 100% sure of, ask that your score go down. No matter what someone says, DO NOT answer anxiously more than 26 questions in Quant and LRDI unless you know that you maintain 100% accuracy. If you leave questions in Quant and LRDI, you can improve your percentile value. So respect a judicious choice of questions and make sure you don't lose marks in the hands of a negative rating system.

  4. Unwise Question Selection: make sure you don't miss any session questions on any of the topics in all sections. At the same time, be sure to solve all simple to moderate questions of your strong zones and all simple questions of your moderate zones. Don't even try a moderate question about your vulnerability. At the same time, keep in mind that the CAT exam is not intended for research and development. Don't try to use a type of question you don't know. Try to avoid an unknown type of question in your area, unless you are very sure. Each note recorded or graded using a careful selection of questions will help you improve your percentile score.

  5. Taking 80+ Mocks in 40 Days: writing too many simulations will only tire you and deprive you of all the energy and concentration you need to improve possible areas and maximize your score. Do not be fooled by those who say they laugh 2-3 times a day in the last round. Focus on a reasonable number of simulations and focus more on your analysis to improve them.

  6. Preparation 1. Mocks: In every mock, always aim to solve at least 50% of the test in the stipulated time. This allows you to give ample amount of time for each set and improve ac Higher accuracy is better if you aim to solve around 20/32 questions.

  7. 2. Fixing approach for different types of questions: There is a limit to the sets that can be made. Exposure to variety, traps, and fixed approaches to problems will help you do well in the section. Also, focus on the thought process. When you see a set, if by the end of first reading, if you know what you are supposed to do, you’re already ahead of a lot of people.

  8. 3. Practice: Along with your preparation for QA and VA, be sure to devote at least 1-1.5 hours and solve 2 sets of LR and DI each. Be sure to experiment with different approaches to discover the one that suits you the best.

  9. Thank You
