  2. How to Know if you Suffer from Glaucoma? 2 3 4 5 1 Blurred vision Nausea and vomiting Red eyes Severe eye pain Seeing light halos Glaucoma occurs when the amount of pressure in the eyeball is increased beyond what is normal.

  3. Blurred vision… A patient who suffers from blurry vision is not able to see things sharply. It can usually be corrected with prescription lenses. 

  4. Nausea and Vomiting… The constant urge to vomit and nausea is a sign that one is suffering from glaucoma. Pressure in the patient’s eyes can cause dizziness which results in nausea and the constant feeling of one’s stomach being overturned.

  5. Red Eyes… Redness in the eyes occurs when the blood vessels which are present inside the eye swell making the sclera which is the part of the eye turn red. If you are suffering from glaucoma, the redness in the eyes is caused due to the pressure on the eye.

  6. Severe Eye Pain… Patients suffering from such eye pain find it intolerable to deal with. If you suffer from severe such a severe case of eye pain which is accompanied by loss of vision you may be suffering from glaucoma and must undergo treatment immediately.

  7. Seeing Light Halos… Light halos are spheres of light surrounding the source of light which interfere with a patient’s vision. It is believed that halos are a normal response to bright light but if it is accompanied with the above symptoms you need to undergo glaucoma treatment immediately.

  8. Reference… If a patient is diagnosed with glaucoma, you must set a schedule of examinations with the doctor to check the progress of the glaucoma treatment underway.
