Analyzing Primary Sources: Essay Norming and Upcoming Quiz Details

On September 8, we will focus on primary source analysis and essay norming. Students are required to read Chapter 2 from the assigned readings (Iraq Constitution and History of Virginia) for the upcoming quiz on Thursday. During our class, we will engage in discussions about what we notice and see in the materials provided. We will also practice APPARTS, a method for analyzing primary sources. As part of essay norming, you'll read through sample essays, score them between 1-9, and provide explanations for your scores.
