  2. VSA Series Application - The VSA is a sound detection system conforming to the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) for the primary protection of reverberant and non-reverberant vaults, such as bank and mercantile vaults. **Must be installed with a UL listed alarm panel and other UL listed devices**

VSA Series • Features: • Integrated microphone & test-speaker in control unit • Automatic self-test • Built-in sensitivity adjustment • Built-in accumulating pulse counter • 8.5VDC - 16.0VDC Input Power • Separate relay outputs (Alarm & Tamper) • Push button balancing • Expandable up to 10 microphones (including VSA-1)

  5. Recommended Spacing It is recommended to install at least one VSA-1 or VSM in every 12” X 12” area. The VSA is not recommended for Fur Vaults

  7. What about the original VSA?? The original VSA-S is being replaced with the new VSA series. Potter will support the original VSA-S system with service parts for a period of 2 years.
