  1. The Benefits of Commercial Keyless Entry Systems and the Types of Proximity Keyless Entry Systems Building Access Control System: Generally defined, keyless entry systems are systems that require a special electronic device in order to control access to a building and are often used by commercial businesses. Traditional keys are never used for these types of Building access control system, instead utilizing proximity sensors or devices such as a smartphone, keycard, or key fob. Here are some of the biggest benefits of commercial keyless Building access control systems. *Perhaps one of the biggest benefits of commercial keyless entry systems involves the safety and security of both the building and all employees. When it comes to more traditional keys, these are able to be easily copied in the event that they end up getting lost or stolen. On the other hand, keyless entry systems mean that the business owner won’t have to worry about someone attempting to gain unauthorized access to the building. Furthermore, these types of systems will also help to keep employees safe, with all entrances able to be programmed to lock automatically upon access being granted. *Another great benefit of commercial keyless Building access control systems is being able to utilize better tracking data, as the software that’s used with these specific systems is designed to track who comes into and leaves a building. Both business owners and security alike are also able to obtain automatic alerts regarding attempts and/or successful unauthorized access. *One other useful benefit of commercial keyless entry systems is access control itself. If you are a business owner, this means that you will be able to have much more access over who will be able to enter and exit the building. This type of system will allow you to track the times of entries and exits, as well as alter access permissions and keep the business itself secure whenever it is not in operation. Proximity keyless entry systems are equally as important to consider as a form of Building access control systems, as there are many businesses who have taken the step of implementing this type of access, as it doesn’t require a keycard or key fob to actually come into physical contact with a reader in order for a lock to disengage. Here are the different types of proximity keyless entry systems. *Key fobs, which are designed to unlock doors whenever they are in a specific proximity to the reader. RFID data is transmitted in order to allow the lock to be disengaged. Furthermore, the fobs themselves are able to be activated for specific entrances and may also be deactivated remotely as well.

  2. *App-based and mobile-based, which utilizes a mobile app in order to enable individuals to obtain access to a building. These systems are able to be completely customized depending on specific security needs, and decreased amounts of hardware are required in order to operate. *Access control cards, which are able to operate from a close enough distance without requiring any remote-based needs. RFID technology is able to be used with these cards for commercial buildings and can also be assigned and deactivated whenever the cards themselves are somehow stolen or lost. *Biometric access control, which requires the use of either facial recognition or fingerprints in order to obtain access to a building. This type of system provides an increased amount of security and is also more costly as opposed to other forms of proximity keyless entry systems.
