  2. WHAT IS ACTION RESEARCH? • This type of research has been going on in education. Involves “reflective practice” and “the teacher as researcher”. This means that the teacher has to analyze their own teaching and identify a problem and think about possible solutions. After that, the teacher subjects it to questioning and then develops ideas or alternatives to improve it. In this kind of research the teacher becomes an “investigator” and at the same times a “participant”.

  3. PROCESS OF ACTION RESEARCH In this part you identify a problem. design a plan of action to solve the problem. you make yourself questions, and think about possible solutions. • PLANNING • ACTION • OBSERVATION • REFLECTION THE PLAN IS CAREFULLY SET WITH SOME DELIBERATED INTERVENTIONS FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME In this part you observed carefully the effects of the action you implemented. Involves collecting the information about what is happening IN THIS PART YOU REFLECT, EVALUATE, AND DESCRIBE THE EFFECTS OF THE ACTION, IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
