  2. Example Slope = 2 through the point (-2, 4) y – (4) = 2(x – (-2)) y – 4 = 2(x + 2) Slope = -3 through the point (1, -5) y – (-5) = -3(x – 1) y + 5 = -3(x – 1)

  3. Example Through the points (-2, 3) and (4, 6) m = _(6 – 3)_ = 1 / 2 (4 – (-2)) y – 6 = ½(x – 4) or y – 3 = ½(x – (-2))

  4. Example Change into slope intercept form: y – 3 = 3(x + 1) y – 3 = 3x + 3 + 3 +3 y = 3x + 6
