Our journey in storytelling has led us to explore conflicts and resolutions, starting with iconic shows like Scooby-Doo. We honed our skills by writing original tales, such as the story of a self-assured girl who confronts a school bully while seeking the perfect prom dress. This narrative unfolds with drama at the mall, ultimately leading to the bully's downfall and a sense of empowerment for our protagonist. Additionally, we dove into reading "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh," analyzing conflicts, settings, and character dynamics to further enhance our storytelling abilities.

ENGLISH What we have been doing
Stories • We have been working on stories and conflicts and how the stories are made. We looked at the conflicts in a episode of Scooby Doo when we were first getting started. We then started to write our own stories.
My Story • One of the first stories I wrote in English was about a girl who's kind of full of herself and goes to the mall to try to get a new dress for prom, but then see’s the school bully in the same store. She stood there watching the school bully pull the tag off a dress and leave the store with it. She goes back to the mall the net day and the school bully is there AGAIN, but this time when the bully was about to get caught she blames it on her. The ending is the bully getting caught and ending kind of happily ever after. She doesn’t get to go to prom but she has no care what so ever!
Reading • We then started to read a book called Mrs.Frisby and the rats of Nimh. We then had to write about it and the conflicts happening and also the setting of the action. After we finished this we had to, based on what we knew, draw the farm and where everything was.
