  19. Professor Charles K. Kao, Nobel Laureate in Physics 2009 • Professor Kao enjoyed his studies at St. Joseph's College very much. He was so grateful to his alma mater, his teachers and his fellow classmates that he accepted all invitations from St. Joseph's on different occasions without hesitation.

Kao, Nobel Laureate in Physics 2009 • In the article he contributed to 125th edition of the Wonder Years, he wrote, “The education I received at St. Joseph's pushed me to excel.
