The ICT Research Infrastructure Development Programme (2007-2013) in Poland aimed to advance the country's research capabilities by establishing high-performance computing centers and developing nationwide network infrastructures. Supported by the Polish government since the 1990s, the program facilitated the integration of Polish researchers with the European Research Area, providing access to advanced e-Science tools and services. Funding from both national budgets and EU sources enabled the growth of scientific networks and ICT applications across various domains, including e-Education and e-Health.
