  2. Highland dancing. • my interest is highland dancing, I do this hobbie and I am are here to tell you a bit about it with pictures and facts with loads more hope you enjoy.!!

HIGHLAND OUTFITS!!! • The first outfit that we get is the highland kilt, the kilt is a long peace of tartan you can get different types of this and colour such as turqoise,purple,black,blue and many more. • To complete the kilt you get a waistcoat or a long sleeved jacket also you need socks to match the tartan of your kilt.

  4. HIGHLAND FLING!!!!! The highland fling is a dance that i do and i have done that dance for so many years and it is a good dance to learn, I do it at competitions with the other 7 dances I do!!!

  5. Swords The sword dance is danced on a piece of equipment.you need to watch where you dance so you don’t hurt yourself. you can dance the sword three different ways, there is the 2 slow and 1 quick,3 slow and 1 quick and there is 2 slow and 2 quick. you do the longer ones at championships and the shorter one at competition’s. Sean Truibhas The Sean truibhas represents when the trousers were band and how they needed to wear a kilt. you can also get different way to dance the Sean truibhas. There is the 3 slow and 1 quick and 4 slow and 2 quick. At the quick part that is celebrating when the men were allowed to wear there trousers. SWORDS & SEAN TRUIBHAS!!

THE REEL • The reel is danced in sets of 4.You weave in and out of each other in a figure of 8.There is 4 ways you could dance the reel, there is the hullachan,the strathspey and highland reel,there is the strathspey and reel of tulloch and the strathspey and highland reel and reel of tulloch.
