Practice creating a tape casting on a small object. Make a plan for your larger sculpture. What do you want to create? How big? What object or objects are you going to cast to achieve this Each student is responsible for their own sculpture, but you should work in teams to execute them. If you will be casting a person, plan ahead to get it done in one class period or in parts (do the upper half, then lower half, then attach the two) NO ONE WILL TAPE CAST OVER SOMEONE’S FACE OR HEAD!
