  4. Plot Summary A. Prue Sarn promised to obey her brother in all things. B. Gideon’s greed made him lose his own everything such as his mother , Jancis and his child.

  5. Reflection Greed lead to bane B. We should break superstition(witches)

  6. Conclusion One’s avarice for something maybe lose his own everything. Owing to Gideon’s avarice for gold- the precious bane, he killed his mother , lost his wife and child,and ever lost his life.
