Enhance Mathematical Problem Solving with the Ace Model Approach

Discover the Ace Model Approach, a powerful technique designed to aid students in problem solving and understanding mathematical concepts. This program emphasizes clear representation of mathematical relationships, enabling pupils to visualize abstract concepts such as fractions, ratios, percentages, decimals, and whole numbers. The course includes three main topics: Vertical Model (remainder concepts, fixed total), Comparison Model (age-related problems), and Conventional Model for Primary 5 & 6. Join us from September 6–10, 2010, for 15 hours of engaging learning. Fees: $350.

  1. Sept. 2010 programme • Title: Ace Model Approach • Outline: A powerful approach for problem solving and learning mathematical concepts. Pupils can represent the mathematical relationships in a problem clearly. This helps them understand the problem and plan the steps for the solution. • The model also helps pupils visualise abstract concepts. In this way, model drawing supports the learning of fractions, ratio, percentages, decimals and whole number. • Topics:1) Vertical Model • - Remainder Concepts - Increase and decrease of units- Fixed Total Concept- Portion of a whole • 2) Comparison Model • Parts to units • Age related problems • 3) Conventional Model Primary 5 & 6 (2010) Schedules: 6th Sept to 10th Sept Day: Monday to Friday (total: 5 days) Time: 9am-12pm (P5) & 1pm-4pm (P6) Total Hours: 15hr (3hr/day) Fees: $350 149 Rochor Rd, Fu Lu Shou Complex, #04-01 | Tel 6760 7870 | www.aceMaths.com | enquiry@aceMaths.com
