The value of human life 1a In our nation human life is valued by function. If a baby would be unable to function outside of the womb then it may be aborted. “But, in Christian thought, the dignity of human beings resides, not in what you can do, but in what you are, by creation.”
The value of human life 1c Pray that those who advocate arguments which rationalize away the killing unborn children would come to understand that the sanctity of human life is paramount. Pray that our nation would come to understand the value of human life from conception.
Christian pregnancy centres 2a Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, "Surely we did not know this," does not He who weighs the heart consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds? Proverbs 24:11-12
Christian pregnancy centres 2b Pray for Christian pregnancy centres and telephone helplines that they would be effective: in reaching mothers threatened with abortion, in helping those who have suffered abortion in supporting those who have chosen not to abort even though they face difficult circumstances.
Christian pregnancy centres 2c Pray for sufficient financial resources and sufficient numbers of volunteers to sustain Christian pregnancy centres. Pray for wisdom and guidance for groups who work for political change and who inform and educate in the truth about abortion.

Christian Leaders and Abortion 3b It has been said that a “cruel purpose could outspeed a vague pity.” There are powerful and influential groups in the UK who are working hard to ensure that abortion remains an accepted and easily obtainable part of our society.
Christian Leaders and Abortion 3c Pray for Church leaders that they may present more than a vague pity and that the Church would provide spiritual leadership for our nation by giving strong voice to the contesting of abortion, so that we don’t simply accept it without question. Pray that there would be a 'breaking of the silence' that surrounds abortion in the church in a way that will release women from the shame of having had an abortion.

Post Abortion Support 4b Women are often described as the second victims of abortion. Post-abortion support is a special kind of grief support. There are many within churches whose lives have been touched by abortion and who are in need of support and healing.
Post Abortion Support 4c Pray the Lord’s anointing on those who offer post abortion support. Pray for church leaders that the Lord would give discernment and understanding to enable them to help those who are victims of abortion. Pray for those who have been touched by abortion that they would be able to receive forgiveness and healing.
