6th Grade PLC Team Accomplishments and SMART Goals Progress Report (Fall 2013 - Spring 2014)

The 6th Grade PLC Team, consisting of Dr. Burisek, Mr. Funchess, Mrs. McConnell, Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Riley, and Dr. Sivik, set ambitious SMART goals for improving student achievement in Informational Text on the MAP Test. By the winter benchmark, 55% of students were targeted to score in the 66th percentile or higher. Data analysis shows that while 48% achieved this in Fall 2013, this slightly decreased to 46% by Winter 2014. The team is committed to refining interventions such as STEM projects and reading/math interventions to meet their goals by Spring 2014.
