  2. What Is God’s View Of Christmas? • If we lose sight of God’s view, then we lose Christmas. • God made promises to Joseph and Mary. Those promises reveal God’s view of Christmas.

  3. What Did God Promise Joseph? • A son will be born. • “he will save his people from their sins”

  4. What Did God Promise Mary? • You will be with child. • A son will be born. • He will be great. • Called the Son of the Most High. • The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. • He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. • His kingdom will never end.
