Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Procedures. The University's Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is the campus-based committee that has the responsibility for reviewing and approving all proposals, activities, and experiments involving recombinant DNA, biohazardous materials, and unfixed Human tissues, cell lines, or fluids.
