What is Symposium?The APVMA National Symposium is an annual three-day, two-night event in which pre-veterinary students from across the nation gather to attend a series of lectures and labs taught by a number of distinguished veterinarians from all types of veterinary fields. Attendees also get to meet representatives from different veterinary schools, pharmaceutical companies, and laboratories.   14. 19/28 Schools Have An Out-Of-State Tuition That Is Greater Than $36,000 (That Usually Increases Annually) $25,880 Is The Current Cost Of Tuition/Fees For A New Jersey Resident Attending SEBS. Only 3 Veterinary Schools Cost More Than That For Their In-State/Contract Students Just Something To Think About…

Some Possible Questions • Do you have the right to not treat an animal? • What is the starting salary for a vet? • If we called your best friend and asked him/her to name your 3 greatest strengths and weaknesses, what would he/she say? • What you would you do if you accidentally injected an animal that was likely to die anyway with euthanasia solution instead of painkiller and killed the animal?  Would you tell the truth to the owner?  The set up is you are working overnight in a hospital alone with a lot of sick animals and you are rushing • Why do you want to be a vet instead of, i.e., be a dentist or a doctor, or run a horse boarding facility?
