Fitness Equipment Usage - Week 3 • Proper fitness equipment usage involves correct position, safe lifting techniques and form • Warm up and stretching reduces injury • Use slow, controlled movements • Proper breathing – inhale on contractions and exhale on extensions • Strength training have numerous health benefits – increases metabolism, lean muscle mass, fat burning and balance • Always hydrate during and after workouts
