Ltd. has licensed and integrated Exchange ActiveSync into its server based messaging and collaboration products. MailEnable Pty. Ltd., a leader in mobile messaging and communication, recently extended its support for mobile devices by providing tight integration with Exchange ActiveSync enabled devices (including iPhone, Windows Phone 7 and Android). Exchange ActiveSync allows MailEnable to provide the same experience to these mobile devices as is available through Microsoft Exchange. Exchange ActiveSync allows synchronization with a larger array of content types than other synchronization protocols (SyncML,CalDAV, CardDAV, etc) and includes device provisioning, security policies and remote wipe. ActiveSync also provides a message transport in that it allows sending and transactional updates to server items.
