My Journey Through Life in a Small Town: Sports, Family, Education, and Travel

Join me, Desirae Hemmes, as I share my life story growing up in McBain, MI—a charming farming community celebrated for its vibrant 4th of July celebrations. From my K-12 education at NMCS to my college years at Cornerstone and Western Michigan University, I have always been passionate about sports, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. My dedicated family has shaped my journey, and now, as a teacher and coach, I continue to inspire others. I also love to travel and enjoy the great outdoors.
