IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM Please check our website for Landlord/Owner meetings for 2012 HUD issued new Fair Market Rents so effective January 1, 2012, the new payment standards are as follows: Efficiency 1 bdrm 2 bdrm 3 bdrm 4 bdrm 5 bdrm 6 bdrm 7bdrm $504 $533 $628 $773 $909 $1045 $1182 $1318 This will apply only to those that relocate to a new subsidized unit on or after January 1, 2012 and any new lease-ups effective on or after January 1, 2012. Please remember to submit your executed lease as soon as the unit passes inspection for new lease-ups. You can fax the lease to 423.209.2212, email to rspence@chahousing.org or treeves@chahousing.org or you can bring it into our office. Make sure your effective lease date is after the inspection pass date and that the lease amount and all other lease requirements are included. The lease will be returned to you for corrections if needed and payment will be held until the corrected lease is received. You can also go to the website at www.chahousing.org/hap to access your Housing Assistance Payment Registers for any time period that you were paid by the Chattanooga Housing Authority. You will need to log in using your Tax Id# that you supplied to the Chattanooga Housing Authority.
