  2. Donde hay un árbol que plantar, plántalo tú. Donde hay un error que enmendar, enmiéndalo tú. Donde hay un esfuerzo que todos esquiven, acéptalo tú.

  3. Sé el que apartó del camino la piedra, el odio de los corazones y las dificultades del problema.

  4. Hay la alegría de ser sano y justo, pero hay, sobre todo, la inmensa alegría de servir.

  5. Qué triste sería el mundo si todo en él estuviera hecho. Si no hubiera un rosal que plantar, una empresa que emprender.

  6. No caigas en el error de que sólo se hacen méritos con los grandes trabajos.

  7. Hay pequeños servicios: poner una mesa, ordenar unos libros, acariciar a un niño.

  8. El servir no es una faena de inferiores. Dios, que es el fruto y la luz, sirve. Y te pregunta cada día:¿Serviste hoy?
