  2. Facts about the BOOGEYMAN The bogeyman is a figure with no specific image. He was created to keep children quiet at night. He is said to hide under the bed & in the closets, he comes out & scares children when they are asleep. The bogeyman is known to hide & scare kids in many different places like he may be scratching at your window, or hiding in your house some where. He was also created to take children away if they were being bad. The parents created him in a effort to make their children behave. The boogeyman is said to take the form of children's worst fear. In the 16th century people used the term the devil as a name for the boogeyman.

  3. THEORIES Mostly people think of the boogeyman as a figure hiding under the bed or in the closet. In other places he is known to scratch at windows or to come into a child's nightmares. Some people think that he has some sort of weapon with him like a hook on his hand or a machete. Some people think that the bogeyman can be male or female. Children believe that he is real a monster.

  4. Team conclusion We think that the boogeyman is a figure with an unknown image. We think that he doesn't have any sort or weapon. We think he would be really ugly if he were real. We think that he would scare children that were being bad. We also think that the boogeyman is not real but may scare some people.
