Pesti • Peste jumatate din animale vertebrate aflate in prezent in viata sunt pesti.Cel putin 25.000 de specii de pestii au fost identificate, dar probabil ca mai exista mii de alte specii care raman sa fie descoperite.Exista trei grupuri principale de pesti:pestii ciclostomi (pestii orbi) si tiparii,pestii cartilaginosi (rechinii si calcanii) si pestii ososi sau crosopterigieni(pestii cu inotatoare cu nervuri crosopterigieni si pestii inotatoare cu raze dermice.
