  2. Objectives and activities: La Fête Française • Pourquoi? Why do it? • What will it cost? • Where will it be held? When? How will I get there? • How do I prepare for it? • How will I be selected for events? • How many events can I participate in?

  3. Objectives and activities: La Fête Française • Event rules: • 5 events per person. (4 if speaking only) • 9 oral events per level (excluding skits) • All students going will take written tests (vocab/language/culture) if schedules allow. (It’s good experience and fills time between events.)

  4. Objectives and activities: La Fête Française • M. Hardy or Mme Sporcic must fill in names on the registration sheet for you to participate!

Objectives and activities: La Fête Française • Successful contestants: • Learn the vocabulary (ALL) of any piece they perform. • They understand the context and have a feel for what the author is trying to communicate. • They are able to take criticism! (They WANT to know if they are ‘off’ in their presentation.
