People often get confused between grinding machines and pellet mills but there is a huge difference between both machines, grinding help in making larger pieces into smaller pieces whereas a pellet is used to produce pellets from powdered material. They both totally work differently but somehow confuse the people out there. So today in this blog we are going to talk about pellet mills.

  3. HOW DO TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF WOOD PELLET MILLS WORK? Let’s discuss the working of the two types of pellet mills to give you a deeper and clearer view of how they have different functionality.

WORKING OF FLAT DIE PELLET MILL: • When you put raw material in the flat die pellet machine through the hopper, and when they fall into the pellet they spread under the function of a roller, and when you are done with the hopper part. You have to start the pellet machine by switching on the electric motor that will bring along the main shaft through the gearbox.

  5. WORKING OF RING DIE PELLET MILL: • When you put the raw material into the ring die pellet mill through the hopper, they directly go to the conditioner, where the raw material is mixed with vapor and butter. The conditioning aims directly to increase the adhesive force and forming rate as well. • Then the material which is being formed till now is transmitted to the pelletizing cabinet. The roller presses the raw material in the holes present in the ring die. The high pressure and high temperature that has been created inside causes physical as well as chemical changes to the raw material.
