Description • Facebook is a social networking service and website launched in February 2004. • Facebook has more than 845 million active users. • Users can create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages • Users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics.

  3. Getting Started: Here is a list of birthdays and upcoming events. When you log in it goes to your home page. This is your wall. Where you can post a status, photo or video and see your friends’. Click here to view your profile. Here is where you chat with your friends. This is where you can create a group for a class. This suggests friends you may know.

  4. Group Page A group page is a great tool for a class. Here is where you can add friends to the group. This shows photos of the group. So you know who is in your group. This is the group name. Here is where you can add a description about your group. This is the wall for the group. Here members can post thoughts, web links or videos.
