Kazankivskiy district district is located on the northeast of Mykolayiv region Area: 1 349.2 sq.km or 5.3% of the territory Boundaries: borders on Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd and Kherson regions, on the west – Novobuzkiydistrict, on the south - Bereznehuvatskiydistrict Number of settlements - 71 (1 urban village, 8 villages, 62 rural countries) Population: 20.8 thousand people. (Including working-age population, 11.9 thousand people (57.2%)

  3. Water resources: river Vysun, Bokoven'ka, ponds cover an area of 1568ha Forestry: shelter bands are 9710 hectares of groves. Agricultural land: 119.7 thousand ha, including arable land - 104.2 hectares Minerals: granite, uranium ore, building stone and brick materials Resource and raw material potential

  4. Labor potential area Total population: 20.8 thousand people, including men -9.9 thousand people, women 10,9 thousand people. Population density - 15 people. per sq km Average salary - 1459.75 hryvnya per month.

There are natural monument of national significance "Stepok" , forest reserve of the local value “Volodymyrivska dacha ", a monument of landscape architecture "Volodymyrivskyi park”, the landscape park of local significance -the waterfall,the hydrological natural monument of local importance – Mokra Balka, the botanical reserve of local importance - Skobelevska Balka, the botanical reserve of local importance - Maryanivskyi, the hydrological natural monument of local importance – Penkivska Balka and others.   7. Education The district has: 19 secondary schools, which enrolled 2306 pupils Kazankivskiy Humanitarian Gymnasium 19 pre-schools. Health Medical care in the district provide Kazankivskiy CDH, 2 district hospitals, 2 medical clinics and 20 health posts. Culture Network of cultural institutions: -Children's music district school; -23 Libraries; -23 clubs; -District Public History Museum; Social and cultural sphere

  8. Tourist route "Novoskelevatka - Homeland of P.P. GLAZOVYI. Every year in the Kazankivskiy district takes place the Nationwide Festival-Contest of the performancers in the genre of humor and satire “GLAZOVYI’S Smiles”.

The total length of the gas network is 247.8 km.There are 4.2 thousand subscribers.11 settlements of the district are gasified over the past 5 years. Including: Territorial Road-40, 0 miles., District roads - 155.7 km., 42.6 km of rural roads., the state roads - 33 km., rural roads - 570 km. The district crosses the route of the national importance Dnepropetrovsk - Odesa.

The industry of the district is represented by the following industry sectors: mining industry (mining granite); processing industry (production of bakery products, cereals, flour and sunflower oil); Volume of industrial production (works, services) for 9 months of 2010 - 2231.6 thousand UAH That is: 3,9% of regional target; 0,2% of the total index.   13. State Enterprise VC number 93 Ltd. Nadra The company only begins its activity: 12.11 hectares are rented, it has 28 employees, extraction of granite up to 200 cu.m per month and production of the stone for modern technology are planned Major industrial enterprises For the 9 months of 2010 enterprise VC № 93 sold 92.7% of the total regional industrial production volume. Main products: granite blocks, paving stones, architectural and construction products, grit, screenings 34 workers are employed. Production is exported to Germany, Poland, Finland, Czech Republic, Russia, the Baltic countries.

  14. Agriculture • Engaged in industrial activities:300 agricultural enterprises of different ownerships, of which 254 - farms, which has in use 19 200 ha.; • The main directions of agriculture: • -crop (production of cereals, sunflower, vegetables, rape); • -livestock (production of pork and beef, milk). The total sales of agriculture products are 96,1%, in the total region- 2,5%. Naturally - climatic conditions of the district are the most favorable for growing cereals: winter wheat, spring wheat and barley, buckwheat, corn; technical: sunflower, rapeseed, mustard; feed: silage and rolled maize, fodder beet.

  15. JV “Vidrodzhennya” company produces 18,7% of the total regional volume, introducing new technologies in crop production, agricultural processors. Average grain yield is about 50 kg / ha, sunflower 22 kg / ha PDP “Agrofirma by Shevchenko " The main activity - production of grain and industrial crops. Aditional activity- livestock and feed production. Share in total district - 12,3% Progressive farmers

  16. Experience of the region in investment attracting The main way of investment - the mining industry: • Ltd. Nadra - 4,5 million UAH are investedSkhidGZK plans to invest 465.4 million till 2029. Because of the cooperation with IBRD and USIF 11 micro-projects for a total sum of 4.7 mln are realized.

  17. Priority ways for investment The development of mining and processing industry; • Restoration of livestock industry • Reconstruction of housing • Implementation of energy saving technologies in socio-cultural sphere

"Batkivshchyna" Total required investments: 1000 thousand USD Targeted use of investment funds: Reconstruction and modernization of facilities, purchase of necessary advanced equipment and its installation, acquisition of the cattle Payback period: 4 years Agriculture

USD The target use of investment funds: Reconstruction and modernization of facilities, purchase of necessary modern equipment and installation, purchase of pigs Payback period: 3-5 years

Name:State Enterprise "Volodymyrske" Total required investments: 159.4 thousand USD The target use of the investment funds: pay for the project, raising plantage, purchase of seedlings,reinforced risers, wire, fuel, others materials and wages. Payback period: 15 years

The plot number 2: Area: 0,5 ha Location: central part urban village .Kazanka Possible application: construction of culture and leisure.
