  1. What is GPS? • The Global Positioning System – GPS is a system, developed by the United States Department of Defence, initially for military purposes, based on that system, GPS Services LTD offers a low-cost solution for fleet management and personal tracking. Our software application track Data Base offers all necessary options such as storing, processing, analysing, and displaying the route of the vehicle, the distance run, fuel consumption, speed, short and prolonged stays, as well as registered events such as doors opened/closed, engine temperature, speeding, fuel level or the data, received by other, connected to the device sensors. Our system allows downloading and printing the data received in the appropriate format. • Some of the GPS ‘s applications functionality: • Navigation and fleet management • Agricultural - area’s planning and agricultural machines navigation • Science and research - in the geography, cartography, geology, geodesy, archeology and ecc. • Communications – to synchronize the communication systems • Truism and sport – orientation, mountain life-guard The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit

  2. How GPS works? 1. Satellite 1 transmits the data over its position in the cosmos with the exact time of the signal radiated.2. GPS module save the data and calculates the distance to the satellite accordingly to the delay of the signal. This interrupted process allows defining permanently the position of the satellite.3. The process repeats for the satellites 2 and 3.4. When the data, received from the 3 cycles coincided, than You can get the coordinates, where You are positioned. This process is called triangulation. 5. The signal from the 4 th satellite is necessary for receiving the altitude of Your position..6.
