  2. Introduction • This unit is designed for grades 2 -4 for gymnasium pupils. Technology resource requirements include a computer with Internet connection.During this unit pupils will learn about Auschwitz concentration camp,will work in groups, evaluate themselves, will improve English speaking skills and will be given a homework task.

  3. Objectives • To improve pupils’ knowledge about Holocaust and Auschwitz concentration camp • To develop pupils’ values and abilities to express their own opinion on this subject

  4. Lesson activities 1 1.Pupils will be given information about Auschwitz concentration camp, providing them with additional material 2.Work in groups 3.Presentation and feedback 3.1Questions to each group after presentation: Where is Auschwitz? When was it built and by what organization? How did Heinrich Himmler call the Auschwitz II-Birkenau? How many people were killed there? How many personnel were per gas chamber?
