ABOUT SAI GOKULA SEVA SAMSTHE. • SaiGokulaSevaSamsthe (SGSS) is a registered not-for-profit organization, established in 2005 with registered office @ Hoskoteof Bangaluru Rural district in the northern region of Karnataka State, South India. SGSS has been implementing diverse development initiatives for welfare of the poor, marginalized and deprived sections of the society. • GOAL: • It intend to empower the deprived for education, social& economic self-reliance.

OBJECTIVES:OUR SEVA SAMSTHE……… • The aims & adjectives are based on the brotherhood of mankind and the love of India will be to promote the spirit of secularism, patriotism, unity & integrity among various groups, castes and religions in the society. • To provide educational facilities for the public by establishing modem educational, cultural and vocational training institutions like schools, convents, collages, industrial, technical & professional for the advancement of knowledge, run hotels, residential schools and colleges under the trust.

MAINLY…….. • To adopt villages to provide basic amenities to poor such as schools, rural health centers, drinking water for human & animals, adult education, non-formal education for men & women, and to prepare plan & implement development programs and marginal farmers rural artisans and increase their knowledge in rural industries, irrigation, agriculture, sericulture, horticulture, afforest ration, water & development, cooperation and in agro based vocational trainings such as dairy, poultry, sheep and goat such villages as integral and non-formal means.

EFFECTVELY….FOCUCES….ON • To implement programs for the improvement of village environment and facilities like rural roads, sanitation, low cost houses and form youth clubs, women self help groups, provide leadership and skill development training, empowerment for the purpose of undertaking development action. • To establish and maintain orphanages, disabilities, destitute home, cottages, crèches, old age homes, hospitals and provide medical facilities for rural and urban slums areas and encourage family planning.

MADICAL FACILITIES…… • To establish and run cattle shelters, veterinary hospitals and provide medical facilities to cattle in rural and urban areas. • To promote village arts, handicrafts, cottage and khadi industries through khadi& village industries commission and also from other sources in order to generate income and employment opportunities in the rural areas. • To conduct or sponsor training programs, seminars, workshops and to offer fellowships and scholarships to promote the objectives of the trust and to take up any other programs which further the causes of rural development.

Women Empower….. • To educate and organize poor women especially in mother and child care with nutrition food and to form self help groups for empowerment through savings and thrift and to mutate social issues and developments programs for the welfare of women. • To acquire in future properties of any tenure mainly in the state of Karnataka & India.

Development can be self sustaining only if it brings about a change in the entire socio economic matrix governing their lives in order to reach the poor stage of social consciousness and empowerment. SGSS has been successfully implementing various programs for the well being of needy in most of the districts. • As already mentioned elsewhere among its multifarious activities for children, youth and women are viewed as key agents of change for socio economic development and are considered as very valuable human resource that could be nurtured and developed with multiple interventions apart from programs for education and skill development. • SGSS has been promoted a chain of women cantered savings and credit groups. The second major concern of the org. is sustainable integrated rural & urban development programs such as CB for CBOs, networking, advocacy, linkages and initiate community infrastructure etc.,
