  1. Soil Starter, 2002. Installation view. Paint, vinyl lettering, table, Compost Tea Paks with tag, computer, demonstration videos on urban composting methods. Dimensions variable. Gallery installation documented the pilot program Soil Starter: Community Composting Network established by People Powered. Compost Tea Paks constructed using compost produced by the program were given away during the exhibition. Tags on Compost Tea Paks instructed users how to use pak as a natural fertilizer and directed them to a website about the Soil Starter program. Demo videos on urban composting methods played on a computer.

  2. Loop: Multi-Purpose Coverall, 2003. Installation view. Paper tags, poster, paint cans with printed label, 100% post-consumer recycled paint applied to wall and distributed in paint cans. Gallery installation documented the pilot program Loop: Multi-purpose Coverall established by People Powered. Quart cans containing recycled painted produced by the Loop program were given away during the exhibition. Essay on paint can label encouraged creative forms of reuse to combat the excesses associated with consumer culture.
